Ok, so what happened between the first batch of pictures in February and these in June? Lots of phone calls, emails, faxes and the like. Once we were done with the insurance company then we had to deal with the mortgage company, and are they slow..... they also lose things you send them and don't read very well either. Eventually we were able to get some of the insurance money back out of them to start moving on things.

The tile arrives! 2 pallets of tile and on of thinset and grout. These are 24" tiles, they come 4 to a box.

We've pulled up most of the laminate and have moved most of the dining room and living room into one side of the living room.

The dining room is starting to look empty. Laurie's desk was moved in situ as she still need to be able to work.

Most of the tile is up and this is the last picture before major demolition begins.

Our stove, farewell old friend. We put it up on Freesource and the guy that picked it up is sending it to his sister in Honduras.

The new kitchen has arrived from Ikea! This will be my largest puzzle yet :)

Demolition begins!
